Our Viking War Chief helmet is based on the “Gjermundbu Helmet”, the only Viking era helmet ever found in Scandinavia. To make this helmet stand out from those worn by lesser warriors, It is heavily adorned with etched knotwork patterns in the Norse style.  It is constructed from 18 gauge steel with crossed reinforcing straps (spangs) and features an antiqued finish. Includes adjustable leather liner and chinstrap.
